About Us

History of the Band

The Solon Community Band was founded in February 2015, where the band received its initial financial support from the Rotary Club of Solon. The Rotary Club Sponsored our first concert and provided custom printed shirts for our uniforms. The Solon Schools have been a great help in supporting the band in its practices and performances. The Board of Trustees set policies and raise and manage monies to support the band's activities.
